The days last longer, there is no snow outside anymore and we can see the sun in the sky more than once a week. The good weather is coming and the open airs are here… but… we don’t care. We stay in our beloved basement with the finest hard hitting techno. This time we are proud to introduce the rising artists from Holland, Ghost in the Machine [Perc Trax] together with one of the most interesting and promising artists of the Warsaw Scene, Sept [Voxnox Records].
Frank Nitzinsky and Nils van Lingen's Ghost in the Machine project started out as little more than a name the two DJs used when playing oldschool acid sets together. In 2016 the two discovered that they had both developed a desire to take their project far beyond the occasional DJ set. The duo made short work of their new mission and 2016 saw the release of their first records on the newly minted industrial techno vinyl imprint Genosha Basic. Their fresh take on techno and their razor sharp production swiftly garnered them support from some of the leading names in the harder recesses of techno and ultimately culminated in Ghost in the Machine being added to the roster of Perc Trax, where they already released two EPs.
Sept is a Warsaw based artist, known as a hypnotic and powerful DJ, producer and A&R of the Berlin based label voxnox Records. His unique eclectic sounds are supported by some of the biggest DJ’s in the electronic music scene nowadays.
Sept has played many of the most respected venues and festivals in Europe with his Tresor, Berlin debut being one of the highlights in his young career. 2018 was a very prolific year for him in terms of productions and he released two EPs on Voxnox records (including remixes by Setaoc Mass and Pfirter) and the third one on the London label Prodigal Son.
