Stefano Chesti aka Stephno was born in Rome. Later, attracted from the world of electronics and DJing, he attended a course in sound engineer in Saint Louis Music College in Rome and begins to devote himself to music by playing with electronic, analog drum, synth, sequencer. In 2012 Stephno made his debut in one of the most prestigious clubs in the Italian capital, the Goa Club, with “Resistance is Techno” putting records vinyl alongside DJs like Ben Sims, Dave Clarke, OscarMulero, Phase and others. He also played in roman club like Circolo degli Illuminati, Circolo Andrea Doria and others. Stephno is currently living in Berlin where he is working on various projects and it is looking for a sound that can mix his very strong style and his old school soul and mentality. Marco H is a DJ from Munich. After organising parties in several small venues and off locations in Munich with a bunch of friends, together with his brother from another mother Gonzo MDF, he started the party series Counterweight at Rote Sonne in 2016. Feeling the need to promote the harder side of Techno music in their city of residence they focused primarily on booking artists that had never played in Munich before. It only took a couple of parties until it was clear for both that their enormous motivation wouldn’t fade quickly, and starting a record label was just the next logical thing to do. Marco H’s sets are hard hitting, rave and industrial oriented with enough groove to keep people moving from start to finish. Berlin DJ Spit delivered a wicked podcast six months ago, also heard on Soundcloud. The eclectic vinyl only mix goes beyond the usual 4-to-the-floor rhythm and shows his passion for groovy and fast beats with a certain ghetto character. “Its all about having fun spinning rather than the perfect mix“, he states. Being influenced by digging hours and hours at Record LoftDJ Spit’s refreshing approach leads us through different styles of electronic music, using classic 90s Djax Up Beat to breaky Ectomorph.
