Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Tresor Club resident DJ Barbara Preisinger, who heads her own vinyl label Slice Of Life, presents her Deep In The Box evenings in Tresor once a month, whole nights of warm, kicking house and deep techno with cutting-edge international house DJs, something that fans of the night have come to thoroughly enjoy. From her hometown of Munich to success in Berlin, Barbara founded first the “scape” label with Stefan Betke aka Pole and became a regular DJ in many Berlin clubs. Her passion is to play for the dancefloor, mixing kicking house and deep techno – often incorporating the music of many notable friends and artists. Tonight’s invited guests: Oracy (aka Don Williams) is founder and owner of Mojuba & A.R.T.less Records and one half of the Tokomak Records company. He is the creative force behind these imprints and Tokomak’s main founding member. His musical influences ranges from Classic, Funk and Jazz via Drum & Bass and Trip Hop to his beloved Detroit Techno and US House, which can be still enjoyed throughout his DJ sets. After a few releases on the legendary Pure Plastic imprint, Oracy delivers tracks of his own brand of funk on labels like Rewired, Styrax Leaves and 100% Pure. Inspired by artists who, back then, and still today keep the underground electronic music scene thriving, Lamache has quickly progressed amongst the ranks proving himself as a talented and versatile DJ. Moving first to Paris to study electronic music culture and sound engineering, he then migrated to London, the melting pot of music, artists and culture. Formerly a member of Toi Toi Musik collective, Lamache’s newest project has led him to Berlin where his focus remains on growing his potential in the studio and concentrating on developing his label Discobar. Two years young the record label has gone from strength to strength successfully hosting showcases across Europe as well as representing a talented group of artists. Julie Marghilano is a broadly informed DJ, truly experimental house producer and taste-making label boss who, with friend Miss Jools, has built a compact and bijou empire around her Sol Asylum label and party, and is very much defining the modern house and techno landscape. Whether it is transforming pizzicato into dark sub basses, creating sweet synth sounds out of violin loops or simply making a live orchestration on the fly, Julie is continuously creating new and unique sounds. With a new live show in the works, more EPs being made and the continuation of her Sol Asylum label and regular parties in Berlin, Julie’s musical journey is making for an exciting ride. On the Tresor Floor: With fast & tight mixing, properly dosed with cuts & scratches, Kr!z is a respected & established artist in Belgium for a decade with his label Token, and a resident DJ for Belgium’s legendary techno night ‘Kozzmozz’ – his DJ schedule now takes him all over the world. Kr!z always had a strong sympathy for the more gloomy, dark, rawer sound of techno. He rapidly established his Token label as a fixed value in the techno scene of today by bringing a timeless & powerful sound, and heading Token label nights in top international venues. From Medillin, Colombia, W.I.R.E. is a techno live act with releases on the self-tailored W.I.R.E. label (on which he invited the respected Milton Bradley and TM404 to be remixed) and well as on Bass Mooy & Mord Records, featuring a blistering techno sound just made for the basement floor. Serbian-born Lag is a promoter of the underground culture, a DJ and a respected producer on the forefront of the new wave of techno artists. Recently his focus moved to delivering extremely functional DJ sets, but also on creating and releasing original music, mostly in the techno genre. After several appearances and releases, predominantly on the Serbian label Teskoba, Lag’s remix of Grovskopa’s “Atopic” is released on vinyl by Sect Records, 12” releases on MORD Records named “Misfit EP” and “Fiend EP” and many others.Janzon Runge aka Janzon, influenced by IDM, Techno, Leftfied and other genres from which he developed his very unique sound. Janzon released his first solo EP “The Primal Scream”, followed up by “Twisted Dust” in 2015, both on Moerbeck’s Code Is Law label. Since 2014 Janzon is resident at Stuttgart’s “Lehmann”, the home of one of the most innovative Techno nights in Germany.
