Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Named by many as a source of inspiration, Netherlands artist Jeroen Search embodies a clear and honest interpretation of techno. His tracks, while audibly open to new and exciting musical influences, always remain true to that typical, inimitable Search-sound. Constantly pushing his creativity by trying to get the most out of a minimal setup Jeroen remains active in the studio. A Jeroen Search live set is more than just an excellent showcase of his work. It’s a journey through the vast landscape of techno with an expert storyteller at the helm and tonight will surely not disappoint. Psyk aka Manuel Anós is a solid staple of the current techno scene. His sets in the best clubs and festivals all over the world have helped crystallize his DJ talents making him one of the most requested DJs on the circuit, and a member of the Tresor Records family with his 2015 12” “Works” (Tresor.282). Since its inception in 2011, Psyk’s Non Series imprint has released collaborations by strings of prominent artists. Linear Straight is not a newcomer to the techno or EBM scene, having ecome one of belgium’s next export products. Pushing a typical dark, uplifting underground sound with unique soundscapes, Linear Straight has progressively evolved into a club music all-round artist. Producing, DJing, performing live with modulars and instruments by the companies he works for like Soma laboratory (Russia) and Roland. He’s has put out stunning records on top international labels and is also the man behind the well respected Radical G name, a prolific ghost rider under various moniker roles, partnered with The Horrorist and is regarded as one of the best remixers doing the job for top talent. Alderaan is the artistic name of Franco De Michele, techno artist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the year 2011, he began the study and experimentation of the sound, and began to publish his own material towards 2014 on the dutch label Planet Rhythm, including the Vexations EP, getting the support of the biggest artists of the global scene. In 2017 Alderaan began a project with his colleagues Miki Craven and Mental Resonance which is called Dead Rose, a platform dedicated to release techno music in all its nuances, with variations in ambient, idm and electro, and which also functions as an agency. In Globus: returning artist Carlos Souffront is a music gourmet, a true DJ’s DJ. His taste is rich and vast and he has the unique ability to create deeply rhythmic narratives that offer unexpected and exotic spices. Equally entrenched in indie rock, post punk, experimental music, ambient, rock, house, and techno, Carlos was always a man of many worlds – with an ability to traverse through them with an unique imagination. Carlos is an important component of the Interdimensional Transmissions parties, bringing a loose yet tight moody deepness and an ever unexpected edge. He has participated in the studio with Ectomorph, and also performed alongside some of their live performances. Andrew James Gustav‘s sets showcase a devotion to the craft of DJing that’s paralleled by few of his contemporaries.Initially under the spell of US house and German minimal, and always influenced by a long-lasting love for UK garage, Andrew’s sound has developed a tougher edge, encompassing vintage tech house, breakbeat, electro and quality techno from all eras and geographies. As well as touring internationally, Andrew is resident DJ at London-based Art of Dark and co-runs its record label offshoot with party founder Colin Chiddle. Born in Berlin, artist Ron Wilson started out with his event & podcast series Tanzmichmal over a decade ago and is now busy with his own record label 777 Recordings, earning him underground credibility around the globe. With his new residency at Tresor and hosting his own clubnight bookings at Globus, Ron Wilson counts among Berlin’s most prolific electronic music DJs, playing diverse styles ranging from techno to acid to house and electro.
