Beschreibung zur Veranstaltung:
Perc is one of electronic dance music’s reference points: an internationally touring DJ, Perc Trax label owner and one of the most respected producers in techno today. Known as one of the most forward-thinking individuals in techno Perc (aka London based Ali Wells) fuses current sounds with his extensive knowledge of electronic music’s past to create something new & unique. Appearing on top international labels and in the world’s most famous venues, Perc’s sound is a fusion of the cream of current techno mixed with choice selections from electronic music’s forefathers, and we are pleased to welcome him back to the Tresor decks tonight. Inspired by a raw and urban UK techno lineage, returning artist Kieran Whitefield aka Ansome‘s drums are heavyweight, his percussion fierce and his synths full blooded. All in all that makes for a live set that grabs your attention and drags you along for an enthralling ride. Littered with his own field recordings, it can be variously eerie or boisterous. Besides producing and releasing music on many top labels, Ansome also keeps busy by running his own label South London Analogue Material. Patrick Gharapetian is Patrick DSP, who has been smashing sound systems around the world for several decades, starting in his native Canada, and finally landing himself in Berlin, where he currently resides. Beginning his campaign of techno in the mid 90s in Toronto, he soon delved into the production side of things, and eventually managing. Patrick DSP’s musical skills, along with his diverse range of technical ability, have not only resulted in an impressive discography of international releases, but have also allowed him to collaborate with some of the most talented names in techno, earning him the reputation of a true techno Renaissance man. Spanish artist Allesandro Gaja debuted in 2013 on Repitch, and records also on the Ophism Record label, focused on releasing rusty, live recorded analogue jams of underground acid techno, electro and lo fi synthesizer music. Gaja’s releases on Ophism include “Nanook”, “Money Create Taste” and “Slaves Of The Future”. In Globus: Ron Maney also known as DJ Skull hails from the Southside of Chicago, IL USA. The quintessential Producer, he is in full command of his craft and the identity of his music. He has managed to seamlessly weave the House & Techno genres; from his signature bass lines to the uniquely warm & soulful production, DJ Skull has proven to be an indispensable part of the music industry. In addition to launching the label Hypnotic Tones in 2004, he also launched Wax Candy Records in 2010 on which the original Chi-Life E.P. and subsequent album, Chi-Life: Live Project, was released. UK artist Allen Saei aka Aubrey started with a 1990 recording for Sheffield label Ozone Records under the name of Panic with a release called Voices Of Energy, it was then licensed to Buzz in Belgium. In 1991 he set up his own label in the same year – Solid Groove Records. Solid Groove had 30 vinyl releases and tracks were licensed by Derrick May, Adam X and many more compilation and mix Lp’s, Cd’s. Over the last 25 years Aubrey has recorded and remixed for many famous international labels. Tresor Club resident Wittes of Deep Fried fame, adds his turntablist talent to the roster tonight.
