In terms of stylistic pluralism, Finnish artist Samuli Kemppi is a key figure. One of his former projects is the label-making of his filling the gap between hard hitting techno and dark electro, they open a space dedicated to freedom, taking their references in the militant spirit of the early rave scene. They pay tribute to the original underground techno, allowing it to express as a music for the body and the mind.ally since 2012 as record label. The intent is conceivably just as simple as complex: full control, no compromises, anything is possible – and the same is true for Kemppi’s DJ sets. Madrid-born Svreca combines the coolest and most sophisticated electronica with the most abstract and complex techno, and sometimes his experimentation leads him towards the most unusual textures and rhythms for the dancefloor. Having delivered a terrific set in Tresor last October, fans will also remember well the 10 year celebration of his Barcelona-based, cutting-edge label Semantica Records. Mischa is a product of shifting technological landscapes. Nurtured by computerized machine music through radio waves from the hardcore continuum, he has developed a distinctly futurist vision for uncompromising techno music. Born in Berlin, Mischa inevitably found Hard Wax as a main educator in taste, and has worked there since 2010. In Globus: the dubbier side of techno hasn’t always been as popular as it is today, but Mark Stewart aka Claro Intelecto‘s dedication to the sound has been unquestioned since his production career began in 2003. Jumping ship from his old home at Ai to the perpetual distinctive label Modern Love, Claro Intelecto managed to land a release on RA’s Top 20 Records of 2008 with the fizzling bass reductions of Metanarrative and has dropped bomb after bomb with admirable consistency. Jose Cabrera aka J.C. from Spain, debuting in Tresor on one of the Echoes nights, expresses a style of simple, raw, stripped down and hypnotic techno. After several other innovative releases, J.C. joined the Tresor label family with his different blends in subtle electronics. Sven Asendorf aka SV3N made a name for himself in the early 90s as a DJ in Frankfurt am Main for his unique mellow Detroit/Electro/IDM style with appearances in clubs, galleries and on underground parties, and even manned the decks at several legendary Tresor Headquarters nights. Moving to Manchester in 1998, SV3N connected with the legendary Skam Records family and started his own club night called ilektro and the audio visual event DYMAM_X in 2003, where he featured many well-known artists. After locating to Berlin in 2010, SV3N connected with the Littlebig Music Agency and Leisure System crew, gaining a qualitative reputation in the capital’s top venues playing his Skopex style Electro; and Berlin DJ Manuela Mayoral complete this Globus line-up.
