HOUSE, TECHNO und ELEKTRONISCHES
DAIRMOUNT:
Contributing to a vibrant Hamburg tradition of inspired electronic imprints such as Dial, Pokerflat, Smallville or Diynamic, Room With A View can be described as the ?personal musical fantasy? of its founder and A&R Phil ?Dairmount? Darimont, a fantasy deeply rooted in his early DJ days when House & Techno were colliding in a big musical patchwork of sounds, sweat & dust. The label was founded in 2009 by Phil and his long time partner Anja Knupper with the help of supporting friends who believe in the power of quality & honesty.
The inspiration of Room With A View can be traced through more than 15 years of DJing across Europe and beyond ? and echoes many of Dairmount?s musical milestones: from the synthetic melancholy of Detroit to the ?hybrid? versatility of London, from the ashes of Mother Disco in Montreal to the quintessential Techno renaissance of Berlin.
The label?s ethic is aiming to get back to timeless ?emotional content? club music with a futuristic flair, while breaking the pattern of ?functionality? that club music too often slips into these days. The desire to make people dance doesn?t have to mean excluding some message, emotion or sincerity. Room With A View is about sincerity & self-expression ? strongly represented by genuine musical characters that saw in the label a new way to display rare aspects of their musical psyche.
With this mission, Room With A View has managed to nurture a unique & unexpected roster of international artists. It is quite a little performance to invite a wide range of dj?s to enjoy the same sound these days : Techno mammoths such as Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, Ritchie Hawtin, Dubfire or Dj Hell, Deep House heavyweights such as Jimpster, Dj Deep, Manuel Tur or Brothers Vibe, Tech House masters such as Steve Bug, MANDY, Milton Jackson, Phonogenic or Joris Voorn, Leftfield wizards such as Lawrence, Peter Kruder, Jazzanova or dj legends such as Danny Krivit or Francois K have all embraced the sound of the label with real enthusiasm?
Soon followed by a solid international print & online media following : De:Bug (Ger), Tsugi (Fr), Dj Mag (UK), Xlr8R (US), BBC1 (UK), Kiss FM (UK), Proton (UK) , Ibiza Voice, Resident Advisor and many online shows & podcasts around the globe?
Our releases have also met a fantastic approval amongst leading digital retailers such as iTunes, Beatport, Juno Download, Traxsource & many others which showed us tremendous support. Record shops like Hardwax, Juno Records, Rush Hour, Phonica, Decks or Freebase (between others) are treating our vinyls with great care too..

Elin ist das Gesicht hinter diversen Veranstaltungen in und um Hamburg. Bei ihrer DEAR Reihe im EGO featured sie Künstler, die für Underground House und Techno mit Wurzeln in Detroit, Chicago und New York stehen, und hat damit regelmäßig ein gutes Händchen für Musik bewiesen, die Beine und Herz gleichermaßen anspricht. Ihr eigenes Herz schlägt darüber hinaus für Sounds welche die klassischen Pfade verlassen. Zum EVERSWEEN Open Air oder ihren
neuen Clubreihe MONGREL dürfen daher die zahlreichen Bettgenossen von House nicht fehlen. Slowhouse, UK Garage, Dubstep oder Pop-Affines - hier wird abseits von Genregrenzen nach verschiedensten Perlen getaucht. Einmal selbst hinter den Plattenspielern steht Elin für charmante House Sets mit Hybridcharakter in denen Funk oder Disco ebenso aufblitzen wie
gelegentlich Exkursionen in Richtung Dubstep möglich sind. Das Ganze gern mit einem kleinen Augenzwinkern und lieber zu deep als zu doll.

MARK RHEIN:
Already a first glance at the musical career of Mark Rhein adumbrates the thirst for enterprise and engagement of this young man: It was only 2006 when first own DJ mixes boomed from his home stereo. But his technical skills and his record selection spontaneously turned out to be surprisingly sovereign so that he soon became fancied as a new guarantor for frisky dancing pleasure on the floors of fun-loving North German student town Lueneburg. It was exactly here, where he attracted the attention of the promoter collective Sonic Fiction, a group notorious as heavily party-addicted, in 2008. They realized his special sense for the right record in the right moment and he was hooked up. Representing this illustrious crew, Mark is frequently putting his definition of groove out on air in his own radio show ?It`s deep!?. Of course this little biography would not be complete without mentioning the recent producer engagement of this young man: Being 50% of Wagner & Großmann, Mark presented some really serious and promising dance music in the beginning of 2010. Somehow things go really fast for this dude.
