DEATH SENTENCE: PANDA! are Kim West, Paul Costuros and Chris Dixon - a trio of San Franciscan musicians associated with the Bay Area?s lively art-rock underworld. Their music draws heavily on traditional Chinese and Korean folk music, ragtime, New Orleans-style marching bands and hardcore punk. Cropped and impulsive pop songs bubble over with exuberance, forever underpinned by the group's unusual instrumentation of pitch-shifted... clarinet, flute, xylophone and drums all with Kim West's impassioned and oft-spooked vocal stylings! NO KEYBOARD NO GUITAR NO BASS GUITAR.... ONLY Rrrrraaaoooowwwwww.....!!

BRONZE (now featured on the RVNG label) are Rob Spector, Brian Hock and Joe Oberjat - a trio of San Franciscan musicians associated with the mysterious Bay Area's Copper Club secret society. Bronze's live sounds come from an ethereal realm of pure sound and energy. Bronze will put you into the deep freeze on the dancefloor with their impersonal dark wave performance. Now with two new jams full of pounding drums, synth squiggles and zombie vocals eminating from the heart of the concrete jungle in the dead of night.
"Can't think of a Bay Area band at the moment that's been so consistently capable of blowing us away live more than Bronze. Something so damn refreshing and exhilarating about their approach to rhythmic psychedelic post-punk, a sound overflowing with dizzying synths and syncopated rhythms that totally transport us to another dimension. The sounds of underground luminaries like Silver Apples, Public Image Ltd., Suicide, and Throbbing Gristle are the launching point for Bronze's mind melting excursions into swirling and sizzling sonic mystery and melody, but they really do take those influences and craft a sound all their own. Not to be missed live, Bronze's stage presence and delivery are so damn action packed and captivating, and this debut recording offers a really nice glimpse of that fiery disposition.
