7th District feat. Baghira - Sound of Silence

"Remixing is like having someone’s Lego house, taking it to pieces and then making it into a spaceship with lasers and stuff..." It was a pleasure for us to give a hand on Simon and Garfunkel’s 80s hit “the sound of silence” and rework their song into a “as we like to hear” Track. Our interpretation is a piece of contemporary Deep House with a strong vocal performance of a great song by Baghira from Austria. A totally different approach comes from Stephan Funkmann who puts more Underground into his remix. A great answer to be “not a slave of the industry” !!

Since 1998 the 7th District team has produced and remixed more then 200 Artist around the world. They gave a helping hand to Stars like Giorgio Moroder, Tina Turner, Tom Jones, Bootsy Collins, Gloria Gaynor to name a few. The latest Remix for Double Platin Artist Jutty Ranx’s “I see you” are kicking right now in many charts around the globe.
