Class 71 - seaphone & diamond door (four040 / Four:Twenty)
After releases from heavy hitters such as Two Armadillos, Solomun and Andomat3000 the mantle now falls to new boy Class71 with his double a-side 'Seaphone'/'Diamond Door'. Well, it would do if he was really the new boy, but he's not. In fact, this new artist is an alias of Italian producer Santos, who has pretty much done it all in house, techno and every other genre we could lazily list. Rounding things off with a respectful nod to classic techno via moody stabs, lazy melodies and an airtight arrangement in the form of 'Diamond Door', it seems like Class71 is a bit of a name to watch. Don't take our word for it though, Amé, Sasse, Djinxx and Agnés are already backing this winner.Releasedate: 26.05.2008
